It’s so wonderful to see two people in SO love. Mallory & Donald are best friends and their love for each other is so genuine and special. Not only is Donald Brown a fantastic Indianapolis Colt, but he’s even a better gentleman. And after seeing him with Mallory and getting to know their friends and family, it is clear that he is a grounded role model. You would think that someone would have to be truly incredible to be his better half but Mallory unquestionably fills that position.
Throughout their wedding weekend, many people took the mic to share their thoughts on the happy couple. The common theme was “It’s just so right”. When you see the two of them together, it’s just so right. Their friendship and their love for each other is thrilling to witness and they are a joy to be around. I enjoyed the meetings that we had together before the wedding. Each time we got together to discuss what they had in store, only got me more anxious for their wedding day.
With Lucas Oil Stadium in the background, the guys and the girls prepped for the day in the Omni Severin Hotel downtown. Jessica Strickland captured some amazing photography over the weekend (which can be viewed here). It’s always a treat to shoot alongside of Jessica as she works her photo-magic with the couple. With the help of Darcie and the Circle City Planners team, the wedding ceremony and reception took place at the classic Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis, IN.
Dave and Rae played some great sing-along songs and kept the party hopping all night long. The ballroom’s beautiful atmosphere was provided by Circle City Designers and Evans Audio-Visual. Even the chandelier was Colts blue!
