This was our second trip to New England this past year for a wedding and I must say, we have fallen in love with the northeast.  Tian + Mike’s wedding day took place on a warm September day at the famous Aldrich Mansion (as seen in the film Meet Joe Black).  There was a lot of anticipation in the air as the excited couple prepped for the events at the trendy NYLO Hotel in Warwick (probably our favorite hotel yet).  The day progressed with an elegant wedding ceremony at the OLP Chapel on the Aldrich estate.  Azure Photography clicked away throughout the day on into the reception where guests were treated to some great tunes by the Boston-based Flipside band.

Thank you for an awesome 2013!  //  INDIANAPOLIS WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

We sat down to write a year’s end blog post but we didn’t know where to begin.  So instead of telling you about our year we thought we’d show you instead.  We worked with so many amazing couples and vendors this year as well as visiting some uniquely wonderful locations.  Thank you to all our couples for fun-filled 2013.  We can’t wait to see what 2014 brings.

Lovely insight to otherwise mundane ceremony of wedding. Great Job done and lovely angles captured for eternty

There was plenty of anticipation among our team surrounding this wedding.  Traveling to Nantucket Island was an incredible and unique adventure.  We fell in love with Nantucket’s cobblestone streets, classic American architecture, and intriguing history.  We first met Eliza when she was a bridesmaid for Mallory + Donald’s awesome wedding in March 2012.  Eliza + Pat both knew each other as kids and 20 years later they realized that we had known each other in their childhood years.  Ironically, back in the day their fathers were part of an a cappella group at Yale University called the Whiffenpoofs.

Eliza + Patrick had a perfect weekend beginning with an fun wedding rehearsal dinner at the famous White Elephant.  Galley Beach was also reserved for all their friends and family to gather together for a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception on the beach. The reception featured the sweet sounds of the Sultans of Swing band and of course, a brief reunion concert for the Whiffenpoofs of Yale;)

Excellent work as always, but I particularly love this having grown up vacationing just north of there in Cape Cod! Great style, great visuals, just a wonderful feeling in this film. The family clearly had such a great time being together and you captured that beautifully.

The #1 piece of advice we give our couples on their wedding day is simply “be yourself”.  It’s sometimes difficult to do when it’s such a busy day full of formalities and endless things to remember, but Alexis + Erik didn’t have a care in the world when they exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends at the beautiful IMA.  As you watch their highlight film you’ll smile and tear up with them (at least that’s what Dani and I did while editing this piece).

It really was a perfect day and it was a blessing to be there in person to witness Alexis + Erik’s special love. We fell in love with them and we think you will too.

Wow! His vows, wow, just brought tears to my eyes!!

This was a special wedding for Dani and I.  For three years in a row we’ve had the privilege of working with the Neumann family.  We were able to shoot Matt’s wedding in 2011 and Nick’s wedding in September 2012.  Next in line was Annie who is the baby in the family and the last of the three Neumann siblings to marry.  We couldn’t help but fall in love with this warmhearted family over the last few years.

Annie + Ethan became husband and wife with traditional wedding ceremony at a local Vincennes church.  This was our first opportunity to work in Vincennes, Indiana and enjoyed it’s small town atmosphere.  After tying the knot they drove off in Ethan’s classic Ford Ranger (which I would describe as having the perfect amount of rust).  Annie + Ethan are so down to earth and they have a special mature love.  It’s obvious, even from this two minute trailer, that they are at their happiest when they’re together.

Congrats, Annie + Ethan!
