VINTAGE ANNIVERSARY MOTION PICTURE  //  INDIANA WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER


Anyone that knows us understands that we absolutely love anything vintage. Whether it be classic cinema or antiques, we tend to be fascinated with things of old. For our 3rd wedding anniversary (May 17th, 2011), we decided to do something a little different. We packed a lunch, some blankets, and a couple antique cameras loaded with film (Sankyo Super 8mm, Kodak Duaflex II) and of course, a not so vintage Canon 5D mark II. We headed to Cataract Falls where we gathered with our close friends and family 3 years earlier for our wedding ceremony.
The weather was perfect…really, it could not have been better. We enjoyed reminiscing of what took place 3 years earlier and we of course had a delightful time creating some new memories as well. Cataract Falls has a special place in our hearts.

A beautiful spring wedding in Terre Haute, Indiana. When I met with Amanda and Ben last winter, I knew that their day was going to be special. Such a cute couple with some profound chemistry.

The day began when all the boys and girl met up at the Temple Spa at The Landing. The guys were able to play some golf while the girls got pampered and prepped. Before the marriage ceremony at Centenary United Methodist Church, Amanda and Ben had a secret rendezvous at the entrance of the church. Amanda so excited to see Ben for the first time that day and that special moment ended up being a powerful piece of their feature film. The newly married couple hopped over to the Country Club of Terre Haute for a happy celebration with all their friends and family. Showtime Music was their to help set the pace with a great playlist. Nathaniel West, West Photography, snapped away all day and did a great job capturing some timeless still images.

What’s a Norte Dame wedding without a little football? Kendra & Pierre were married on March 26th, 2011 in the historic Basilica of the Sacred Heart in South Bend, Indiana. As the girls got all prettied up in the South Bend Marriott, the guys headed out to toss around the old pigskin. Amanda and Andy with Amanda Fales Photography documented all the fun with some beautiful pictures (see for yourself) and Paul Chamberlin with The Music Machine rocked the nicely decorated Palais Royale with some fine tunes all night! Kendra & Pierre added this short film to their package. Our short films are an excellent way to share your entire wedding day with those that couldn’t make it to the wedding or for anyone that wants to relive the day all over again.

DOWN IN NAWLINS

A TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS // IN[FOCUS] 2011

We headed down to New Orleans for the 3rd annual IN[FOCUS] video conference. It’s always a good time meeting up with our industry peers from all over the world. Keeping up with all the latest video gear is important, but investing in your creative mind is beyond important. We decided to use a mixture of music that was performed on the streets of New Orleans. A variety of music is on every corner in NOLA and what a treat it was to capture it. A big thanks to the Drunken Catfish Ramblers for allowing us to hang with them on Royal Street. What an interesting bunch.
