It really is a wonderful life!

When Lauren and Nate were searching for a wedding filmmaker for their upcoming wedding, they stumbled across Jet Kaiser Films. They really enjoyed our work but they knew we were going to fit perfectly when Nate read Jet’s bio page. Jet is a huge Jimmy Stewart fan and Jet and Nate share the same all-time favorite movie, It’s A Wonderful Life.
In keeping with the theme of the day, Nate rented the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts which is a recently restored 1946 art deco-style movie house so that It’s A Wonderful Life could show throughout the day. It was fun to see Lauren + Nate’s love story unfold just as Mary + George’s did on the silver screen.

You might have recognized Lauren + Nate from their Save-the-Date film from last year. In case you missed it.

CLASSIC-STYLE WEDDING VIDEO TEASER TRAILER  //  INDIANAPOLIS WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER


You don’t have to spend very much time on our blog to understand that we enjoy things of old. We get much of our creative inspiration from classic movies and we believe that a great story will always be great no matter what. Brittney + Fredrick love old movies too and they wanted to incorporate as much classic Hollywood into their wedding as possible. With the help of Kim King Smith Events, their vision became a reality. From Britney’s Marylin Monroe-inspired hair style, to her classic wedding gown, all the way to the vintage decor, all beginning with an actual red carpet entrance for their guests.

In keeping with their wedding theme, it just felt right to release their wedding trailer in black and white.

Molly + Brian are just so adorable. They had a beautiful autumn wedding at the Mansion at Oak Hill in Carmel, IN. Molly + Brian couldn’t wait to become husband and wife! It was fun for us to witness the anticipation build as the ceremony approached. Molly was so giddy as she prepped with her bridesmaids at the Carmel Office Suites (a really interesting location with plenty of salon/spa options). Quite a lineup of vendors for this wedding too with the Mandy Leonards Photography team and Joel Nowacki with Track Seven DJs. We hope you enjoy this short and sweet glimpse of Molly + Brian’s wedding day.

LAURA + NICK {a wedding at Faith Presbyterian Church & Purdue Memorial Union in West Lafayette, Indiana}

When I first met with Laura + Nick, I couldn’t wait to travel to West Lafayette to document their wedding day. It’s evident how much Laura + Nick love each other, their entire wedding day was a beautiful love story. The ceremony was held in the Faith Presbyterian Church. Dani and I instantly fell in love with church’s old-fashion atmosphere. Laura + Nick gathered with friends and family for a festive reception in the Purdue Memorial Union. Laura + Nick now live happily ever after in Indiana, Pennsylvania (Jimmy Stewart’s hometown 😉

We had the opportunity to captured Nick’s older brother’s (Matt) wedding in October 2011 at the Mavris in downtown Indianapolis. Later on this year we’ll be shooting Nick’s sister’s (Annie) wedding. Three Neumann siblings in 3 years! A great family to work with 😉
