WEDDING ENGAGEMENT FILM  //  NEW YORK CITY WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

When it comes to “how did you two meet” stories, V + O have a unique one. Although they both now live in Indiana, they originally met and dated in New York City. We were originally going to produce their engagement video in Indiana, but they decided that the film would be more powerful if they could actually recreate a few of their first dates back in the Big Apple. We premiered this video as a surprise for their guests at their wedding reception at the Conrad Hotel in Indianapolis in October.

ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY  //  JAMAICA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Yelena + Dan invited us to join them in Jamaica to produce a wedding film last month. We had an extra day before the wedding so we decided to take advantage of it and follow them for some horseback riding fun at the Chukka properties near Falmouth, Jamaica. PHOTOS ARE NOT ENOUGH.

So what happened here that caused the entire wedding congregation to burst out in laughter?  What if there were only photos of this moment and not motion pictures with sound?  The couple might always remember, but will their future children and grandchildren know what was so funny?  Will the story always remain attached to the photos?  More than likely, they won’t.  Memories fade and the stories attached to images are often forgotten.  This is the beauty of what we do as event filmmakers.  We preserve these moments exactly as they happen so they can be shared (and remembered) forever.
